About

Death / Doom Metal
Lisbon, Portugal
Formed 2023

Through Void are a Death/Doom Metal band from Lisbon, Portugal, built around the collision between crushing heaviness, bleak atmosphere and the darker edges of human existence.

Emerging with Demo 2024, the band began shaping a sound rooted in slow, oppressive riffs, death metal intensity and a persistent sense of desolation. Rather than treating heaviness as an end in itself, Through Void use it as a vehicle for themes of emptiness, suffering, decay and mortality — creating music intended to feel as overwhelming emotionally as it does physically.

Following their first release, Through Void took their music to the stage, including an appearance at Infernal Solstice Fest, while continuing to develop the material that would become their first full-length record.

That evolution culminated in Forsaken, the band's debut album, released in February 2026. Preceded by “Echoes of the Forsaken” and accompanied by the lyric video for “Bringer of Death,” the album marked a major step forward for Through Void, expanding the foundations of their early material into a darker, heavier and more cohesive body of work.

With Forsaken and their association with Maledict Records, Through Void have entered a new chapter focused on bringing their music to a wider audience and taking their Death/Doom sound beyond Portugal.

Slow. Crushing. Bleak.

Through Void is music from the space where nothing is left but weight.

Philosophy

We believe that true heaviness lies not in speed or technicality, but in the crushing weight of atmosphere and emotion. Our music is a ritual—a journey through darkness that ultimately illuminates the void within.
